The importance of disinfectant coverage

Ultrasound probes are a diverse group of medical devices, varying in shape, size and surface features. Any high-level disinfection (HLD) process for ultrasound probes must be able to reliably achieve HLD across the entire surface of the device, regardless of the type of probe being disinfected.

As part of its probe compatibility program, Nanosonics has performed microefficacy testing on a large range of probe types and models, including probes with indentations, grooves and unique surface features. Read more about the results in this white paper.
